Attorney Todd Neilson works as a partner at Simmons Hanly Conroy LLP. He is dedicated to protecting the rights of victims of asbestos exposure and has more than a decade of experience representing individuals in the areas of personal injury, railroad injury, toxic torts and wrongful death. He has recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for victims and their families.

“Mesothelioma victims suffer from a horrible disease that could and should have been prevented,” Todd said. “Like most of my clients, I come from a blue-collar family. I understand the value of hard work and will work diligently to obtain the best possible outcomes for the people I represent.”

Before starting at the firm, Todd worked in a St. Louis metro area law firm where he handled all phases of litigation, including appellate work.

“As an attorney, my role is to be the best possible advocate for my clients,” Todd said. “Because every case is unique, I give my clients the individual time and attention they deserve.”

Todd earned his law degree in 2002 from St. Louis University School of Law. He graduated cum laude and earned a merit scholarship. He earned his B.A. in political science in 1999 from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Todd has been admitted to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court in both the Southern District of Illinois and the Eastern District of Missouri and to the bar in Illinois, Pennsylvania and Missouri. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and more.
